CAV S.p.A. assures the reimbursement of tolls paid in excess of the amount due, following the ascertainment of the validity of the statement made to that effect by the user.

Any refund of the toll, in whole or partial, may be paid, also in connection with any limitations on the use of the motorway infrastructure, exclusively on the basis of the specific industry regulations in force and within the limits thereof.

The refund request can be sent in the following ways:

• by mail (ordinary or registered), to the address of Concessioni Autostradali Venete - CAV S.p.A., Via Bottenigo n. 64/A - 30175 Venezia-Marghera (VE), Italy
• via e-mail, at: [email protected]
• via certified e-mail address (PEC), at: [email protected]

In the refund request, the following subject should be indicated 'Toll Refund Request'.
The refund request must be accompanied by the relevant documentation, stating:

• the identity of the applicant (e.g. copy of their identity document)
• the identity of the delegated party, if any (e.g. copy of the identity document of the delegating party and the delegate)
• the actual payment of the toll (e.g. receipt)
• any further elements useful for processing the refund file (e.g. identification of the electronic toll collection contract).

Indicating the bank details on which you are requesting to receive the refund will also be necessary.

In the event that the verification of the prerequisites for the refund results in a positive outcome, CAV S.p.A. will provide for the payment of the amount due, within a reasonable period of time from the closure of the preliminary investigation.
