Along the A4 motorway, there are two service areas, called ‘Arino Est’ and ‘Arino Ovest’, whose oil and non-oil services have been sub-concessioned; the expiry date of these sub-concession deeds, originally set for 31 December 2025, has been extended to 31 December 2027 as a result of the provisions of Art. 2, paragraph 2, of Decree-Law no. 121 of 10 September 2021.

In addition, along the section of the A57 Mestre Ring Road, near the Marghera motorway roundabout, there are two additional service areas, called ‘Marghera Ovest’ and ‘Marghera Est’, which are not sub-concessions, since they are located on private land; however, access to these areas was the subject of a specific deed called ‘Convention for the regulation of relations deriving from the access concession’, which expires on 31 December 2025 for Marghera Ovest and on 31 December 2026 for Marghera Est.

Upon the expiry of said sub-concessions, as well as upon the conclusion of any further sub-concessions signed ex novo by the Company, quality indicators shall be defined in accordance with Measure 15 of Annex A to TRA Resolution no. 130/2022 and Measure 15 of Annex A to TRA Resolution no. 1/2023.

The new sub-concessions, stipulated upon the expiry of the aforementioned ones, as well as any further sub-concessions signed ex novo by the Company, shall provide for conditions that comply with the provisions of the measures adopted by TRA Resolutions no. 130/2022 and no. 1/2023, as well as with the provisions of the industry regulations in force.

The company is building an infrastructure for the installation of electric charging stations (Fast Charge) at the Arino Est and Arino Ovest service areas, the Spinea and Preganziol motorway stations, and at its headquarters in Marghera-Venice. These are power and transformer substations that are preparatory to connecting and powering the aforementioned charging stations to recharge electrically-powered vehicles.
